A 6000sf remodel of an early 70’s ski house sits on the municipal golf course in Aspen, Colorado, and consists of an indoor swimming pool, and crows–nest office. With design restrictions that 60 percent of the existing house be retained the primary design goal was to flood all previous dark interior spaces with natural light from all directions. The interior swimming pool opens to the golf course and landscape with an entire wall of disappearing glass doors.
